This Series is created by Simone Xing. This Series is inspired by ancient masks—objects that once held stories and identities but have since lost their original form and been left behind. I aim to breathe new life into these forgotten relics by bringing them into our contemporary world. Through painting, I infuse each mask with my own creative ideas and highlight specific features to make them more vivid and engaging. This process creates a dialogue between past and present, restoring their presence and giving them renewed expression.
