This series of photograph is created by the artist Vera during her journey through menopause. A woman’s body is in a constant whirlpool of changes throughout her life. How to cope with these changes is a lifelong learning and problem-solving process for every woman. The intense hormonal changes brought about by menopause provided the artist with significant physical stimulation, accompanied by psychological and emotional fluctuations. From the perspective of womanhood itself, Vera attempts to convey through photography the sensations women experience with physical changes.
